Sport Experimentation

For one of my subjects I have chosen sport. I visited Robert Sutton to visit fiends play 6 a side football so I took my Canon 1100D as the lighting would be floodlights so I used them which brightened my images well rather than taking extra flash lights.

With the photographs I took I decided that after I changed a few of the contrasts that the photos instantly looked better because it highlights the dark parts of the images out which then draws the audiences eye towards the football player which is great because in this shot below he is caught running.

Taking photographs at night was a lot more challenging than in the day. I would have set the camera on a high ISO with a fast shutter speed. If I could reshoot I would experiment using different lenses (to zoom in more), try using an even higher ISO, faster shutter speed and even using a tripod.

I think this was a good idea because when you are in a practical work area such as a small football field you have to move the camera constantly when you are looking for the perfect image to capture. Some if these images were captured better than others and surprisingly sometimes I didn't need to use a tripod. These are my first photos which I am pleased with and may use as ones of my final 6.
